It Started With a Small Problem at Home
I wanted a simple way to protect my floors when chairs moved around the house. I tried thick tape, then stick-on felt pads. They helped for a while, but neither felt like a lasting solution.

01 / THE SEARCH
The detail that changed everything
Then I found silicone chair leg covers. They seemed promising—until the felt on the bottom began to peel away. It was attached to the silicone sleeve with glue, and that connection did not hold up to everyday use in my home.
When the felt came off, I began rethinking how it was attached. I redesigned the cover myself, tried different ways to join the materials, and eventually found a method that bonds the felt and flexible sleeve more securely during production.
02 / THE DESIGN
Thoughtful protection from every angle
I also changed the shape of the felt. The result is a mushroom-shaped base that wraps 360° around the bottom edge. When a chair is pulled straight or at an angle, the felt is designed to stay in contact with the floor, helping the chair move more quietly and helping protect the floor from scratches.

Made for the everyday moments at home.
We studied common chair leg shapes and developed multiple sizes for a closer fit. What began as my search for a better solution became YOZON. We believe even the smallest things in a home deserve thoughtful design—especially the details that make everyday life a little easier.
